I download the latest version of the software, hoping that might fix my problem. No luck. In looking through previous problems with the same errors, it was suggested maybe Iftran didn't get built. I see Iftran in the build tree, but I don't find it in the installation directory. In any case I am still getting the above error when trying out the examples.

In the past, I've had trouble getting ctrans and idt to work, but that is in fact working this time. I am trying to go through the examples and use 'ncargex'. I have an old working version compiled with Intel, but ctrans doesn't work there. I didn't build that one. I can include the make-output if it would help. Thanks.
