[ncl-install] does not locate libgfortran.3.dylib on mac

Dear Mary,
Thanks for the mail.I found libgfortran.3.dylib at the location
/Users/ramsir/Downloads/usr/local/lib.

And my gfortaran version is -MacBook-Pro:lib ramsir$ gfortran -v
Using built-in specs.
COLLECT_GCC=gfortran
COLLECT_LTO_WRAPPER=/usr/local/libexec/gcc/x86_64-apple-darwin12.5.0/4.8.1/lto-wrapper
Target: x86_64-apple-darwin12.5.0
Configured with: ../gcc-4.8.1/configure --enable-languages=c++,fortran
Thread model: posix
gcc version 4.8.1 (GCC).

Where should I keep /usr/local/lib directory of Downloads?
