Hi Nisha,

Whenever you invoke an application from the UNIX command line, it
needs to be on your "search path" in order for it to be successfully
run.

It sounds like the path to the "ncl" executable is not on your search
path.

Please see the instructions at:

   http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Download/install.shtml#SetNCARG_ROOT

for information on setting your search path, and a few other things
you need to do to use NCL.
