Just an FYI, I've seen this type of behavior a couple of times when
there was a byte offset problem. What architecture are you running
Intel/AMD & 32/64-bit...
Also, ho long ago did you download the data? I had some problematical
data I downloaded back in 2010 or so... Maybe Perdinan can suggest a
date/var that he knows works and you can verify.
Just a couple of thoughts.
