Hi George,

I’m trying to run the METplus wrappers for GridStat on Jet, but I keep getting the error: 02/06 01:50:02.340 metplus (config_launcher.py:585) ERROR: Directory LOG_DIR is set to or contains /path/to. Please set this to a valid location.

I had intentionally left the LOG_DIR variable undefined in my config file, which according to comments in config_launcher.py should have just disabled logging, but I still get that error. When I *do* set LOG_DIR manually, I get a KeyError for LOGDIR from the depths of python.

Do you know what might be causing this? I grepped my entire workflow for the string “/path/to” and came back with nothing, so I’m not sure how the LOG_DIR is ending up with that as its location.

If it would help to see my config file on Jet, it’s at /home/amb-verif/GSL_verif-global/config/metplus/global_g2g_gfs.conf. Some environmental variables are set in /home/amb-verif/GSL_verif-global/xml/metplus_gfs_g2g.xml.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me!

Molly
