  Initial Request
----------------------------------------------------------------

Good afternoon,

After the machine switch from Mars to Venus, I set everything up and tested
the batch plotting capability as I had done before. When running the plot
batch script I noticed that nothing proceeds forward. It's been hung up
here for over 30 minutes:

I did hear the MetViewer site was inaccessible earlier. I'm not sure what
happened or if this could be related to my issue.

Ed,

I see a few batch jobs handing on AWS.
I will cancel them so you could restart your job(s).
Will this work?

Tatiana

Are you starting a multiple batch jobs at the same time without
waiting until the previous one is finished?
This could overwhelm the Java Virtual Machine and the database
resources.

Subject: batch plotting not moving forward/no plots generated
From: Edward Strobach - NOAA Affiliate

I'm glad you brought that up. This has been an issue I have been
facing
for quite a while. Although things are now just starting to process,
I
have experienced issues of plots not being generated or stored in the
wrong
location. There's no pattern to it, and I suspect it's related to the
point you brought up. My hope is that once I get the SQL error
resolved
related to Crop_Woodland - and others; recall the conversation two
days ago
- that I can put everything under the same xml file.

Ed,

Wondering about the status of this RT ticket. I believe that Tatiana
is
looking into the SQL issue related to the "Crop_Woodland" string.

Can I go ahead and resolve this particular RT ticket?

Thanks,
John
