Initial Request
----------------------------------------------------------------
Hello,
I am wondering if there is a way to create a two-line tile on METviewer if
the title is too long? It seems some words will be missing unless I use a
smaller font in my test. Please see the attachment. Thank you.

Binyu,
Yes, you can use '\n' inside the title to indicate where the newline
should
be inserted.
I've attached a recent example from the DTC instance of METviewer:

Hello John,
Thank you for your help. Unfortunately, I don't know why it doesn't
work on
my test:
1. I uploaded your xml file into METviewer, but I didn't get any plot
(first attachment)
2. I put '\n' in the "plot title", but the title is gone (see the
second
attachment), is that weird?
What 's wrong here?
Thank you.

Binyu,
That’s why I sent you the link to the DTC instance of METviewer.
http://dtcenter.ucar.edu/met/metviewer
That’s the one that contains the data for that sample plot, not the
AWS
version of METviewer.
But I have a good guess as to what's going on. Take a look on the
"Formatting" tab in the "Title Formatting" box. Try changing the
"Perpendicular offset" from the default value of 0 to -2.
When you add a newline in the title, it can result in the title being
shifted up and off the image. That perpendicular offset shifts it back
down.
Hope that does the trick.
Thanks,
John

Got it, it works on AWS version of METviewer after I change the
"Perpendicular offset" from the default value of 0 to -0.5.
As always, thank you very much!
