[Met_help] [rt.rap.ucar.edu #82536] History for grib2.h error

Hi
I tried to install MET on Cheyenne Ucar. I used the same command on
tutorial:

./configure --prefix=`pwd` --enable-grib2 --enable-modis
--enable-mode_graphics --enable-lidar2nc

But it gives me this error:

data2d_grib2.h(27): catastrophic error: cannot open source file "grib2.h"
    #include "grib2.h"
                      ^

compilation aborted for data2d_grib2.cc (code 4)

This step is after I downloaded and unzip the
met-6.0_patches_20170920.tar.gz

I was kind of stuck on this error, can you help me?

Also I've tried disable the grib2 in configure also. Same error.

Hoachen,

I see that you're trying to compile MET on cheyenne.  Please be aware
that
there is an existing build of MET on cheyenne that can be loaded as a
module, as described on this page:

https://dtcenter.org/met/users/downloads/existing_met_builds.php

Please let met know if that doesn't meet your needs.
