Initial Request
----------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Met Help
Please provide support towards importing NCEP wave ensemble (GWES) data
into Met/Metviewer. The data is typically verified against NDBC in situ
buoy data, as well as altimeter wave-height data. Operational GWES grib2
data may be found in WCOSS, for example the current (10/24/17) cycles at:
/com/wave/prod/gwes.20171024/gwes11.glo_30m.t06z.grib2
Ensemble members are numbered gwes[00-20].
Let me know if further information is needed to add these data types into
the Met framework.
Best regards,

Hello Henrique,
I'm following up on some older MET-Help tickets. I wanted to let you
know that we did receive your request and created a development task
to work up an example of applying the MET tools to the GWES dataset.
We're currently working on the MET 6.1 release. Thank you for sending
the location of the data we can use on WCOSS. Once we're able to
start work on this, we'll be in touch with any questions we have.
For now, I'll go ahead and resolve this support ticket.
Thanks,
John Halley Gotway
