Hi,
I have an issue regarding "gsidens2orank" tool. Its taking a while to give the output. the issue seems to be the same as "gsid2mpr" tool, which was notified earlier.
Would you please look into it.

Hello -
The slowness in the gsid2mpr tool has been previously noted, and a bug
fix
has been issued to address the issue. Unfortunately, John noted that
the
logic behind the bug fix does not apply to the gsiden2orank tool.
That
means we'll have to look into this

Jagdeep,
Yes, unfortunately, I do not have a good fix for you to make the
gsiens2orank tool run faster. But I will add it to our list of
development
tasks.
For the gsid2mpr tool, I added a -no_check_dup command line option.
That
makes it skip over the logic of checking for duplicate records which
makes
it run much faster. However, that option doesn't apply for ensembles
because we're trying to stitch together observations from several
files.
And that requires the code to do a lot more book keeping.
But I do have some ideas of how we might refine the logic. Would you
be
able to send me a sample of your ensemble output for a single time?
That
test data would help the development process a lot.
