Hi,
I have used the pb2nc tool for converting the prepbufr file to nc file.But I am unable to convert a bufr file of satellite radiance.Would you look into a file named "gdas1.t00z.1bamua.tm00.bufr_d", I tried sending you the file but there is a size limit imposed.

Jagdeep,

Unfortunately, the pb2nc tool is only able to read files PREPBUFR
files
(i.e. typically named "gdas1.t##z.prepbufr.nr", where ## is 00, 06,
12, or
18).  It is not able to read BUFR data more generally.

And from those PREPBUFR files, it is only reading P, Q, T, Z, U, and V
for
pressure, specific humidity, temperature, height, u-wind, and v-wind.
It
can derive a handful of additional observation types, but they are all
based on those 6.
