Hi,

I was wondering if there is a typo error on page C-22 with regards to the
FSS equation on the MET user guide (version 3.1, 3.01).

On that page, the denominator in the fraction has a minus sign, whereas the
same formula in Ebert (2009) has a positive sign in the denominator of the
fraction in the equation.

Should I take the equation with a positive sign instead?

Thank you for pointing out our typo in that equation. I has been fixed
for the next version of the Users' Guide.
