[Met_help] Help with viewing pcp_combine output

Thanks for registering.

Unfortunately, the answer to your question is no, you cannot currently view it through IDV.  We get the same error message from IDV that you're seeing.  I wish I had some trick to make it work, but I
don't.  However, the good news is that enhancing our support for NetCDF files is at the top of our priority list for the next release.  Specifically, we're working toward better support for
CF-compliant NetCDF files.  As part of that process, we'll ensure that the MET NetCDF output files can be viewed via IDV.  But for the time being, you're pretty much stuck with viewing them through
ncview.
