[Met_help] MET install error

Luke,
I see how you may have gotten the "-Bstatic" in there rather than just "-static". The "Makefile_pgi" uses "-Bstatic" while the default "Makefile" (for GNU compilers) just uses "-static". Each
compiler has its own sets of flags it recognizes. Since you're using the GNU compilers, make sure that you're modifying the GNU Makefile rather than the one for the PGI compilers.
Hopefully, using "-static" will do the trick.
