Subject: [ISP-mc] ISP Management Summer Schedule

Dear ISP Management Team,

Over the past six months we have had some really good discussions at our 
ISP managers? meetings. It is exciting and encouraging to see this group 
working together to make ISP into a thriving entity at NCAR.

Our philosophy is that it is most worth investing time in these meetings 
when we can have a good number of participants, move forward on ISP 
plans, and particularly when there is an exchange of ideas about the 
science behind the ISP projects.

Given that many of our ISP leads are in the field or away from Boulder 
for much of the summer, it seems unlikely that we can pull off such a 
robust event in the next couple of months. We propose to suspend the ISP 
meetings for June and July, and to re-convene in late August/early 
September for a half or full-day ISP retreat. This longer meeting will 
give the opportunity for each of you to report on the investigations and 
projects that you are working on, as we move toward planning for FY11 work.

Please send Paula a note with information on your availability for a day 
between August 23 and September 3.
