[ISP-mc] NSF BIO synthesis center

Dear ISPers,
Is anyone familiar with this RFP from NSF BIO for 6M/year funding for an 
Environmental Synthesis Center that will "will foster synthetic, 
collaborative, cross-disciplinary efforts to understand and predict the 
complex interactions among ecological populations, communities and 
ecosystems, the geophysical environment, and human actions and decisions 
that underlie global environmental change."
Sounds like something ISP should be doing.
