Hello Everyone,
The next Boulder Fluid Dynamics Seminar will be on Tuesday, September 3 
at 3:30pm in the DLC Collaboratory on the CU Campus. Stuart P. Bishop 
from the Advanced Study Program at NCAR will talk about "Oceanic heat 
transport by eddies in the Kuroshio Current east of Japan" and Jean 
Hertzberg from the University of Colorado at Boulder will talk about 
"Beauty, Power, Destruction and Oddness: The Aesthetics of Flow 
Visualization." An announcement with abstracts is attached.

For those of you who have now begun teaching, please consider 
advertising this seminar series to the students in your courses. These 
seminars are intended to be accessible to a broad audience and can 
inform students on the wide range of fluid dynamics research areas.
