<p class="MsoNormal">I’m writing to make you aware of a new job opening at the Sloan Foundation within the DEI Program. I’ve already sent this to some of you, so apologies for the duplication.

<p class="MsoNormal">We are hiring for a Program Associate: <a href="https://sloan.org/about/careers#tab-program-associate-dei-in-stem-higher-education" target="_blank">
https://sloan.org/about/careers#tab-program-associate-dei-in-stem-higher-education</a> I’d be grateful if you could share this with your graduating PhD students, colleagues, and other community members. This will be a very important position to the DEI program,
someone to serve as a thought partner (to me) as I evolve the DEI program strategy here. This is a full-time, two-year professional staff position, potentially renewable for a third year. It could be great for someone finishing their PhD this year and looking
for a post-doctoral position alternative. It would also be terrific for an early career scholar interested in philanthropy.
<b><u>A nuanced understanding of the higher education research literature and of academic research overall is important, namely in the DEI STEM space.</u></b>
<b><u>Applications from underrepresented persons of color are especially encouraged.</u></b></p>
