Dear colleagues,

We are looking for a new faculty member in the Department of Earth and
Environmental Sciences at Temple University in Philadelphia in the
area of *Data
Science*. We particularly seek candidates who implement rigorous
statistical analysis or leverage cutting-edge developments in data science
to answer earth and environmental science questions. We are looking for
someone who will develop a highly creative, externally funded research
program, mentor graduate and undergraduate students, and teach
undergraduate and graduate courses in geology/environmental science. The
department is especially interested in candidates who, through their
research, teaching, and/or service, will contribute to the diversity and
excellence of the academic community at Temple. I am attaching the full ad
here, and we will begin reviewing applications on December 3rd. Please
share with anyone you think may be interested. You can find out more about
the department at https://ees.cst.temple.edu/

Cheers,

Alix
