*Format:* Guest facilitators Forrest Lacey and Elizabeth Maroon will join
Duseong Jo and Val Sloan to help provide feedback in small breakout groups.

*Description: *Planning to apply to a position in a university or research
lab? It's time to put together your Research Statement for your application
package. Job application season will hit in a few months. Put something
down - anything - and get a feel for what you want yours to look like.
This is a confidential, judgement-free zone!  We are all here to help each
other.  Your statement will only be shared with others attending the
Feedback Session.

**Formating Tips for Your Research Statement:* Include a line space between
each paragraph; keep normal margins; avoid tiny fonts; use bolding to
emphasize key statements; include subheadings. Space is your friend.

The recent panel on 'Writing a Research Statement' was terrific and worth
listening to if you are writing a research statement for job applications.
