Dear Colleagues,

A reminder that there will be an all-staff and visitors town hall on
Friday, January 11, from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. at Center Green (CG1).

I will make a few opening remarks about the ongoing government shutdown
before handing it over to Lory Wingate, UCAR Senior Vice President and
Chief Operating Officer, and leadership in UCAR Operations to make some
comments. Then we will open up the town hall for your questions and
comments.

We have also set up a website for staff
<https://operations.ucar.edu/shutdowninfo> with information and resources
about the government shutdown and UCAR’s response. The site includes
details about the Phase 1 and 2 Plan, an FAQ, and a timeline, as well as
information about financial assistance, unemployment, and employee
assistance.

We will also record the town hall and post a link to it on the staff
website next week.
