[Grad-postdoc-assn] service - outreach opportunity at Foothills Campus, Monday July 9, 1-2 pm

Hi all,

If you are interested in doing a short service/ outreach activity, please
join us tomorrow, Monday, between 1 - 2 PM in in the FL2 cafeteria atrium
for a poster session, when students from Haskell Indian Nations University
will be presenting their summer research.

The students are in the Haskell Environmental Research Studies (HERS)
internship. The HERS internship is a collaboration between Haskell Indian
Nations University and the University of Kansas that teaches students how
to do research on the effects of climate change on natural and human
systems. The students will be at NCAR this week as a part of their
internship, and will be doing field projects on the Boulder storm & flood
of 2013 with staff from NCAR labs and NCAR Education & Outreach.

We are honored to have these students visit us, and hope that you can join
us for the poster session, talk to students about their projects, and give
them friendly feedback. No need to sign up, just come by!
