This looks interesting. If you go, would you be willing to write up a
paragraph or two about this?
Thanks!

Are you interested in a career in science policy? Not sure what to do
with that PhD? Come find out about the American Academy for the
Advancement of Science (AAAS) Science and Technology Post-Doctoral
Fellowship./ Snacks provided./
/For more than 35 years, the AAAS Science & Technology Policy
Fellowships have provided scientists and engineers with a unique
opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills to national and
international issues in the federal policy realm, while learning
first-hand about establishing and implementing policy.
Fellows select assignments in Congressional offices or federal agencies.
This is a year-long opportunity, beginning September 1 and ending August
31. Most federal agencies offer Fellows the ability to renew for a
second year. The stipend is approximately $74,000 to $97,000, depending
on years of experience and previous salary. Applicants must hold a
doctoral level degree (PhD, ScD, MD, DVM, etc.) or a Master's degree in
engineering plus 3 years of post-degree professional experience. Federal
employees are not eligible and US citizenship is required.
Join AAAS Fellowships Senior Project Director Kim Osborne and former
AAAS S&T Policy Fellows Melanie Roberts and Jeff Orrey for a discussion
about these great opportunities.
