[Grad-postdoc-assn] Thompson Lecture Series Spring 2010 - Dr. John Seinfeld

We are pleased to announce that Dr. John Seinfeld of the California  
Institute of Technology is the lecturer for the Thompson Lecture  
Series for the Spring 2010. This event will be held April 19-21 in the  
Foothills Lab. A schedule, a short biography and abstracts for his two  
seminars entitled "Aerosols and Climate" and "Atmospheric Organic  
Aerosols" are posted on the wiki. There will be two roundtable  
discussions, one on careers and one on science. Since the time for the  
roundtables is short, please send questions or topics you would like  
to see covered to the moderators, so that we can try to make the most  
out of these meetings. There is also the opportunity for 30 minute  
individual meetings with Dr. Seinfeld. These are great opportunities  
to interact with a renowned scientist, so please take advantage of  
this by signing up for a meeting on the schedule page of the wiki.  
Finally, please reserve the evening of the 20th, as we are planning a  
dinner with Dr. Seinfeld. More information about the dinner plans will  
be coming soon.
