Science Fair Season is Upon Us -- Judges Sought

The 2009 Roche Colorado Regional Science Fair will be held in the
Glenn Miller Ballroom at CU on Thursday, February 26, 2009, and the
deadline to register as a judge for this year's fair is Wednesday,
January 21. Judging for the senior division (grades 9-12)will take
place from 8:15 am to 12:00 noon. Lunch will beprovided to all judges.
Judging for the junior division (grades 6-8)will take place from 12:30
pm to 4:45 pm. You may choose to judge either or both sessions. As a
judge, you are responsible for working with Head Judges to determine
category awards and special awards.  It is a fun day that provides a
window into the science talent emerging in regional schools serving
6-12th graders.

In addition, we need 2-4 judges to help select the 2009 NCAR Science
Fair Award for both the senior and junior division.  If you are
interested, please sign up to judge via the BVSD link below and
notify me of your interest in taking part.  And, on behalf of the
area's budding scientists, THANK YOU for your interest in this highly
rewarding education and outreach activity.
