Abstracts should be submitted through the ESGF Confluence website, rather then sending them to Tanya. If you do not have an ESGF Confluence account, please contact Dean (williams13 at llnl.gov<mailto:williams13 at llnl.gov>) or Renata ( mccoy20 at llnl.gov<mailto:mccoy20 at llnl.gov> ) or Tanaya (reshel3 at llnl.gov<mailto:reshel3 at llnl.gov>)

To submit an abstract, go to https://acme-climate.atlassian.net/wiki/display/ESGF/Abstract+Submission+for+2016+ESGF+F2F and click on the ‘Submit an Abstract’ button. Change page title to a short title of your poster or talk, then in the table add a full, long title, list of authors, submission type –your preference to give a talk or a poster. Live the Link blank. Then below the table write the abstract. You can edit your submission at any time before the due date.

The link to the electronic file should be added later, when you are done with your poster or a talk presentation. At that time come back to your page, edit it, then drag and drop your file onto the page. Save it. Then edit again and in the 'Link to the file’ add the link to your uploaded file, you can do that by either clicking on the link in the edit navigation, or by typing “[“ immediately followed by the files name – the hint should come up as you type, click on it to add the link. Save the page.

All submissions will be reviewed and you will be notified if your abstract is approved.


The abstract title is limited to 300 characters and the abstract text is limited to 2000 characters; the 2000 character limit excludes spacing but includes punctuation.  Abstracts are due by September 15, 2016;

ABSTRACTS SUBMITTED AFTER THE DEADLINE WILL BE REVIEWED ON A CASE-BY-CASE BASIS.

POSTERS:

The poster dimensions are: A0 portrait format - 33.1 x 46.8 inches. Please upload the poster as a .PDF or .PPT electronic file to your abstract page (simply edit the page and then drag and drop the file)

TALKS:

Talks will be preloaded on a presentation laptop, one day in advance of the scheduled presentation. Please upload the poster as a .PDF or .PPT electronic file to your abstract page (edit the page and then drag and drop the file) or email  to williams13 at llnl.gov<mailto:williams13 at llnl.gov> and jefferson9 at llnl.gov<mailto:jefferson9 at llnl.gov> .
