[Go-essp-tech] Synda-3.0 released

Hi All,

I am pleased to announce the release of Synda 3.0 (previously known as 
Synchro-data).

Synda is a command line tool to search and download files from ESGF.

It can be used in batch mode to mirror a subset of ESGF data on a local 
machine, and to keep datasets versions up-to-date.

The source code is now available on GitHub:

https://github.com/Prodiguer/synda


Beside bug fixes and ergonomic improvements, new features are

* GridFtp support
* Batch mode for 'next replica' action
* New 'history' and 'list' actions
* New filters for local search

Installation and configuration instructions previously hosted at
http:///dods/.ipsl.jussieu.fr/jripsl/synchro_data
are now available on GitHub
