Hi Brent,
	you are right, the JPL openid doesn't seem to be accepted at the NCAR site... I am cc-ing Eric Nienhouse at NCAR, who could help... We were talking about this just today...
Brent, if you are in a hurry to get the data, you might want to obtain another account at pcmdi9.llnl.gov, register for CMIP5, and use that openid, since that openid should work at NCAR.
