Kyle,
That archive view may be less accurate than 
http://pcmdi3.llnl.gov/docs/dataset_list/esg_static_table.html .  
Neither site is likely to be 100% correct.  Also I'm not sure whether 
multiple versions and replicas are being counted or not.
