[Go-essp-tech] THREDDS OPeNDAP security testing utility

The BADC has written a THREDDS download security testing utility for checking whether data referenced in THREDDS catalogs are correctly secured with ESGF security through both fileServer and dodC (OPeNDAP) services.  This tool can be installed with the command:

$ easy_install thredds_security_test

Or clone the esgf-contrib git repository and you will find the code in the badc/python/thredds_security_test directory.  Further details are at http://pypi.python.org/pypi/thredds_security_test
