Hi everyone,

as preparation for the QC discussion I forward an email of Micheal with 
a few links to additional information.

I'd like to discuss three topics:
1. Which content of the QC is needed and how in the ESG gateway?
2. How is the QC L2 assigned for an experiment based on the QC results 
for the atomic datasets?

3. Presentation of the QC process as part of CMIP5 on the CMIP5 web pages.

How the QC information (topic 1.) is provided will be decided at the 
technical QC meeting in UK on 24./25.05.

Hi Luca,

I extracted a few slides from Martina's QC presentation which has been
originally planned for presentation yesterday. The slides gives an
overview how the process works and the given URLs provide information
and guidance on tools and services.

The overall information on the CMIP5 QC process can be obtained from
http://cmip5qc.wdc-climate.de

The QC-L3 end-user interface can be accessed via
http://cera-www.dkrz.de/atarrabi/
The tutorial is given in the upper right box in the start page.

If you have questions please ask. I am in Asheville until Friday morning.
