Hello Karl,

I've had some correspondence with two of the groups who produced "20C3M NAT" data used in IPCC AR4 and will be able to archive the data. The question is, how should it be published? Should we create a "CMIP4" archive in ESGF?

I don't think anyone has the resources to do a full CMOR conversion on the data, so my objective would be to get the files in to NetCDF CF, with appropriate global attributes and standard names.
