Dear all,
The terms of reference which we drafted and which were commented on by
the modeling groups before being approved by the CMIP panel have been
on our website for several months now. Table XX referred to in the
acknowledgment is a placeholder for the actual table that a research
paper would be expected to include. The table will only list models
that are used in the particular study (not necessarily all models in the
archive). [It would be inappropriate to acknowledge all the modeling
groups if only a subset provided the output needed for a particular
study.] So if in your paper you list the models you used in Table 2,
then "Table XX" would get replaced with "Table 2" in the
acknowledgment. Perhaps I should clarify this somehow. Any suggestions?
thanks,
Karl
