Dear All,

I've kept a pretty low profile in these discussions, particularly on
logo design (O-level art failed!), but have kept a close watch on
events.  However, now it comes to voting on names I thought I'd raise my
head above the parapet.  My vote definitely goes for GO-ESSP.  'Earth
System Technologies' conjures up images of a manufacturer of
environmental monitoring instruments.  It's portals - the gateways for
users to data - that are really our end-game.
