[ESP] Name, goals and logo

Hi Folks,

Rather than wait for the wheels to turn to produce a brilliant mission 
statement with precise goals and a new name I decided to metaphorically 
put pen to paper and create a logo which contains my suggestion for a 
new name for the group.  The attached PDF is the result.

N.B. The logo attempts to symbolized the key components of  1) data on 
and about the earth (with no specific references to particular 
continents or countries) and 2) cooperation (both via computer and by 
humans) symbolically linked across the logo.  The suggested name has the 
old name embedded within it, but is different enough (I hope) to avoid 
confusion with the popular NASA project.

There are three "logos".  One plain, one with a "tag line" and one small 
"brand" for placing on participant web pages where appropriate.

Should in its wisdom (or dare I say lack there of) the collective 
decides to go in a different direction, I will happily use what meager 
skill I have to create a logo to match the final decision.
