You can find on online implementation of the theories document at

http://ugamp.nerc.ac.uk/bouton/model_metadata/index.php

If you go to List all models 
Choose Unified model v 4.5 (it's the only one I've done
Then view as xml = the xml schema will be given with an example filled in.

Same for list all components and list all experiments.

When I get back to the office on Wednesday will make a clearer www site.

I have started looking at your document  "Numerical Model Metadata - 
a draft standard". Do you have any other materials we should be looking at?
I would suggest that during this early stages that we limit our discussions 
to "Atmospheric Models".

An email to Luca, should get NCAR involved in the discussions.
