Dear all,
for all of you who are staying at the Lord Daresbury, you can get to the
Laboratory either by car a long the main road (A56) 3rd road to the left
(Keckwick Lane) after the hotel. if you reach the second roundabout you have
gone too far!

Otherwise you can also walk:
going round the hotel (on their ground) past the restaurant you will find
Red Brow Lane. Turn left onto it and walk down the road and pass under the
bridge (it is actually and aquaduct). Directly after the bridge, you will
find a footpath on your right leading up to the canal. Turn left when you
reach the canal and follow it until you see the Laboratory on your right.
Just before the next bridge you will find a small footpath leading up to the
road that will take you to the main gate. The walk should take about 15
minutes, but might be slightly muddy if we had rain during the night.

Best wishes,
Kerstin

ps. I have reserved tables in our local Pub the Ring o Bells for Monday
night for all interested (self pay), the pub is in easy walking distance
both to the Lab and the hotel.
