We seek an Engineering Geologist or Applied Geoscientist, with strong preference given to candidates with industry or government experience in applied geosciences, who can mentor our students in pursuing professional licensure.</div>

 be expected to mentor undergraduate and graduate students in research. We welcome applicants whose work complements our existing strengths, contributes new dimensions to the department’s research and teaching profile, and leverages existing departmental expertise
 and instrumentation. Potential areas of specialization include engineering geology, applied or near-surface geophysics, soils, environmental geology, or geologic hazards. Candidates are advised to review our courses and department website.</div>
