Our research focuses on the use of dense time series of Earth observation data for monitoring environmental changes with a wide range of applications, including land use and land cover change, urban albedo and climate modeling, and geospatial intelligence.
The selected candidate will leverage state-of-the-art remote sensing models to monitor albedo changes in the urban environment and assess their impact on urban climate using weather and climate modeling and simulations.

We are seeking a candidate with a strong quantitative foundation in environmental sciences, remote sensing science and technology, or related fields. Research experience in the above-mentioned areas is a plus. Proficiency in programming (Python, R, or MATLAB)
and Google Earth Engine (GEE) is highly desirable.
