Position </b></span></div><div>We’re seeking a full-time employee that lives in the San Francisco Bay Area to work on a variety of air
quality projects. The role will involve working with different organizations to design and provide training on
air quality concepts, deploy and maintain air monitoring programs, and analyze and visualize air quality
data collected by air monitors to assess quality and develop insights. You’ll be at the forefront of enabling
community groups and other organizations to use data and new technologies to understand and improve
local air quality. This is a remote position that will work with community-based groups, government
agencies, and the private sector, both throughout the U.S. and in other countries. </div><div><br></div><div>Responsibilities </div><div>● Work in the field with environmental measurement equipment by deploying, troubleshooting, and
fixing technical equipment (air monitor experience preferred). </div><div>● Manage data, conduct data analysis, and interpret data. Draw insights from data and create
visualizations to communicate data to a variety of audiences. </div><div>● Work with community-based organizations to translate complex ideas for diverse audiences with
sensitivity and thoughtfulness. </div><div>● Communicate with a variety of partners, such as federal and local governments, industry
representatives, and community-based organizations. </div><div>● Conduct air quality trainings and presentations to diverse groups of clients and stakeholders. </div><div>● Handle multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management skills. </div><div>● Travel locally in the San Francisco Bay Area to perform a variety of tasks.
Desired Qualifications </div><div>● A bachelor’s degree in natural sciences, data science, or a related technical degree. </div><div>● 2-4 years of experience working in an environmental or science field collecting, analyzing, or
interpreting environmental data. </div><div>● Experience using common data programming languages, such as R or Python. </div><div>● Background knowledge of air quality and pollution. </div><div>● Excellent written and oral communications skills. </div><div>● A strong interest in working with a broad range of organizations on air quality and environmental
science issues. </div><div>● Highly motivated, consistent, self-starter with superb problem-solving skills. </div><div>● Fluency in another language – preferably Spanish. </div><div>● Ability to work independently and with teams in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. </div><div>● Project management skills, including ability to plan and develop scopes, budgets, timelines, and
evaluate outcomes. </div><div>● Have strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite. </div><div>● Ability to travel domestically and possibly internationally. </div><div><br></div><div>Access to a vehicle for job-related travel
in the San Francisco Bay area. </div><div><br></div><div>2
