connecting their dynamics and occurrence to different atmospheric
circulation features. Teaching/supervising duties up to 20% are possible

in Uppsala, but will be expected to travel both nationally and
internationally.

coordinate a lively research group based at the Dept. of Earth
Sciences in Uppsala, which focuses on the dynamics of extreme climate
events in
the mid and high latitudes and their impacts. We currently host several nationally funded and Horizon Europe projects. More information on our ongoing research

focuses on subjects that range from the Earth’s core to the atmosphere and human society, on
