You will work with data collection on and analysis of exposure to, and
the effects of, extreme climate events in the mid-latitudes. The work
will cover various categories of events, such as heatwaves, cold spells,
storms, and droughts. The aim is to link the physical events with
exposure and impacts in a harmonized database. <font size="2"><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif">Teaching/supervising
duties are possible on a voluntary basis. You will be based at the Dept.
of Earth Sciences in Uppsala, but will be expected to travel both
nationally and internationally.

coordinate a lively research group based at the Dept. of Earth
Sciences in Uppsala, which focuses on the dynamics of extreme climate
events in
the mid and high latitudes and their impacts. We currently host several nationally funded and
H2020/Horizon Europe projects. More information on our ongoing research
