Canada has launched the <a data-auth="NotApplicable" data-outlook-id="fb76a334-900b-46a8-8736-5f6af91eb81b" class="OWAAutoLink" id="OWA92870518-e7d5-eceb-66cd-908ca46c2bdb" href="https://www.canada.ca/en/impact-plus-chairs/program-details.html">


Canada Impact+ Research Chairs</a> (CIRC) program to attract world-leading researchers to come and work at Canadian universities. Note that there is a very short turnaround for this program: <b>most universities are asking for


<u>applications or expressions of interest</u> to be submitted by <u>mid to late January</u></b> (i.e. the next couple of weeks). </div>

There are two application rounds in March and June. However, interested candidates must first apply to universities who will then submit the application to the CIRC program. Different universities have different instructions (see the bottom of this email for
