applicants can choose to join the Yin Lab in the Department of Ocean<br>
Science and Technology. Our research focuses on seawater carbonate<br>
chemistry, sediment early diagenesis, and optical sensor development,<br>
with growing work in coastal ocean hydrodynamic modelling. For details<br>

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT OF OCEAN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY<br>
Founded in 2022, the Department of Ocean Science and Technology is a<br>
strategic priority for UM, dedicated to cutting-edge academic research<br>
and innovation in marine fields. Key areas include marine environment<br>
and ecology, coastal hazards, marine robotics, smart observation<br>
technologies, Al oceanography, and more. The Department offers two<br>
master's programmes-Coastal Environment and Safety and Smart Ocean<br>
