Candidates must have a PhD in Geography or closely related discipline. The teaching assignment is two courses per semester during the 9-month academic year. Teaching responsibilities include introductory undergraduate core science courses, as well as advanced

 undergraduate and graduate courses in the candidate’s area of specialization. We welcome scholars who will bring passion and excitement into the classroom, both indoors and outdoors, and offer courses that complement and strengthen the existing curriculum

 in physical geography, including those relevant to environmental field methods. The candidate will contribute to the department’s programs that include a bachelor’s degree in Geography, a bachelor’s degree in Environment and Society, a master’s degree in Geography,

 a master’s degree in Geographic Information Science, and a Ph.D. in Geography.</div>
