<p class="MsoNormal">The 51 Pegasi b Postdoctoral Fellowship program recognizes early-career investigators of significant potential and provides them with the opportunity to conduct novel research in theory, computation, observation, instrumentation, and lab
experiments. The fellowship program aims to advance our fundamental understanding of solar system science, exoplanet science, and other closely related topics. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">We want to emphasize that, although the fellowship is named after an exoplanet, <b>solar system planetary scientists are strongly encouraged to apply</b>. Early-career investigators who use telescopes, spacecraft data, lab work, and/or
modeling to study the planets, moons, and small bodies in the solar system are all eligible.<br>

The Foundation anticipates awarding six to eight fellowships this year. Each recipient will receive a three-year grant of up to $450,000 with the ability to apply for a fourth year, assuming satisfactory progress. For more information about the fellowship and
