successful applicant will be expected to teach the equivalent of 4.5 courses per year. This teaching load often translates to two lab-based courses and one non-lab course per year distributed among introductory and upper-level courses, and would include our
existing computational Climate Dynamics course. As part of a full teaching load, the candidate will also contribute to Middlebury’s First Year Seminar Program and Winter Term course offerings. All faculty at Middlebury are also expected to contribute to service
to the College including, but not limited to, committee membership and serving as Director or Chair of a Program or Department when asked. </span></p>
