Environmental and Planetary Sciences at Rice University in Houston, TX, is
seeking applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position. We
encourage applicants from across the field of Environmental Earth Science, including
but not limited to those studying coastal and surface processes, ocean
sciences, the cryosphere, and interactions among those systems and their
connections to climate change. We also welcome candidates pursuing research on environmental
aspects of the energy transition. We encourage applicants utilizing a range of

Texas Gulf Coast and the Houston area, and invites engagement with the newly
