Along with the rest of the project team, the postdoc and student will improve understanding of the mechanisms behind Arctic climate, ice sheet, and ecosystem responses to rapid warming. The postdoc will take part in coordination and mentoring of students, research, and outreach activities, and in course planning. All participants will be involved with field work and outreach in Southeast Alaska and cross-disciplinary project activities through project team meetings, journal seminars, and workshops.</span></p><br><p dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.2; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Aptos; font-weight: 700; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-position: normal; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">How to Apply: </span></p><p dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.2; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Aptos; font-style: italic; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-position: normal; text-decoration: underline; text-decoration-skip-ink: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Postdoc: </span><a href="https://www.ubjobs.buffalo.edu/postings/52444" style="text-decoration: none;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Aptos; color: rgb(70, 120, 134); font-style: italic; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-position: normal; text-decoration: underline; text-decoration-skip-ink: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">https://www.ubjobs.buffalo.edu/postings/52444</span></a></p><p dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.2; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Aptos; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-position: normal; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">The Earth Science Postdoctoral Fellow will start spring or summer 2025.
