<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><span style="color:#222222">The 51 Pegasi b Postdoctoral Fellowship program recognizes early-career investigators of significant potential and provides them with the opportunity
to conduct </span><span style="color:#010101;background:white">novel research in planetary astronomy for up to four years.</span><span style="color:#222222"> The fellowship program aims to advance our fundamental understanding of solar system science, exoplanet
science, and other closely related topics. </span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><span style="color:#222222">We especially want to emphasize that, although the fellowship is named after an exoplanet,
<b>solar system planetary scientists are strongly encouraged to apply</b>. Early-career investigators who use telescopes, spacecraft data, lab work, and/or modeling to study the planets, moons, and small bodies in the Solar System are all eligible.<br>

The Heising-Simons Foundation anticipates awarding six to eight 51 Pegasi b fellowships this year. Each recipient will receive a three-year grant of up to $450,000 with the ability to apply for a fourth year, assuming satisfactory progress. For more information
